Ameresco Canada provides energy services to institutions such as schools, hospitals and universities and also government and commercial clients. These services include energy efficiency upgrades and renewals to building energy and water systems. Energy service agreements guarantee annual cost savings and operating improvements.
The Project Engineer will be a support role for the project team reporting directly to the Vice President, Eastern Region (branch manager of the Ottawa region).
Duties of this role will include any or all of below:
Candidate must be capable of working autonomously within the team environment and asking for support and guidance as required. Candidate must also enjoy the challenge of troubleshooting and problem solving in a technical setting. The candidate must present professionally to clients of Ameresco Canada.
Education Required: Mechanical Engineering Degree
Other Education/Certification/Training: Professional Engineering Designation (P.Eng)
Work Experience Requirement: 5 to 8 years of HVAC experience
Working Knowledge: Building automation and control systems; knowledge of instrumentation and measurement equipment
Software: AutoCAD and MS Office programs including proficiency with Excel
