    Ameresco seeks a Proposals Coordinator to support the production and coordination of high quality, on time proposals for our customers, as part of the business development team. This role plays a vital part in the growth of the business.

    Responsibilities

    Proposal Administration: 

    • Plan and coordinate team resources to execute and deliver large, strategic, complex, and successful energy efficiency and renewable technology project proposals.
    • Oversee and participate in final proposal production including content editing, formatting, production of electronic documents, media, printing, binding, and delivery in compliance with customer requirements.
    • Partner with Business Development team and Project Engineers to produce marketing and presentation materials for customer meetings, seminars, and conferences.
    • Identify and implement process improvement for efficient proposal development and delivery including database content, best practices, templates, and branding consistency across all business units.
    • Design and implement methods to capture, track, and maintain customer project data.
    • Assist in cultivating new avenues of proposal lead development.
    • Coordinate and monitor the proposal calendar and database to track and communicate proposal status.
    • Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
    • Act as a MS Dynamics CRM Support Administrator. Set up new potential clients’ accounts and opportunities into CRM. Ensure data is current and accurate on a continuous basis. Create and run regular reports as required to support sales. Provide training and education for new users, and for existing users as the CRM system evolves and grows.
    • Support Ameresco marketing efforts and ensure all case studies are up to date and in Ameresco format (liaise with Ameresco Marketing Department in Framingham).
    • Periodically review website content and provide feedback on accuracy and updates to Ameresco Marketing Department in Framingham

    Back-Up Support:

    • Back-up Office Administrator to meet and greet visitors on behalf of the company and arrange any hospitality requirements if required. Cover company telephone if required.
    • Act as back-up Fire Warden and First Aider.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Bachelor Degree in Communications, Marketing, Sustainability, English or related field.

    Advanced MS Office and Adobe computer proficiency: Excel, Word, Power Point, Adobe, strong database management skills required.  Visio, Illustrator, Sharepoint, CRM experience preferred. 

    Right to work in the UK required.

     

    Additional Qualifications:

    Excellent verbal, written, computer and interpersonal communication and presentation skills.

    Superior organizational, project, time management, and resource planning skills.

    Proven ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast paced work setting.

    Demonstrated experience with RFP/RFQ process, including public sector proposals. 

    2 years energy savings performance contract or energy-related engineering proposal development and production experience.

    Prior experience within energy, engineering, or commercial construction project environment preferred.
